Farson Mercantile in Farson, Wyoming is a must-stop for souvenirs, snacks, and, most importantly, ice cream! This historic building, originally constructed in 1908, has lived through many different businesses over its lifetime. As Farson Mercantile team member Kianna Cleveland shares, "The building burned down in the 1940s and was rebuilt, it has been a staple in the community for over a century. It has been a boarding house, post office, hotel, grocery store, and now it's an ice cream parlor, deli, and souvenir shopping center!"
Travelers from near and far enjoy all that the Farson Mercantile has to offer. The Mercantile's tagline is "Home of the Big Cone", and they keep that promise! The whole family will surely take delight in the dozens of flavors of ice cream served up daily.
The owners of the Farson Mercantile are a local family who strive to create a kind and friendly atmosphere for their customers and employees alike, and as Manager Jenny Robinson says, "Our philosophy on customer service is to treat all customers the way we would like to be treated. Our goal is to brighten the day of every guest."
