Wyoming’s Big Show®-The Sweetwater County Fair Makes Top 15 Events in State 

Rock Springs, Wyoming –Wyoming’s Big Show®- The Sweetwater County Fair makes the top 15 events in the state rated by Top Events USA. Top Events USA stated, “Each summer Wyoming's Big Show® draws folks from hundreds of miles to Rock Springs and the Sweetwater Events Complex. Also known as the Sweetwater County Fair, Wyoming’s Big Show® delivers on fun with rodeo action, family-friendly carnival rides, a wide variety of delicious dining options, evening concerts and 4-H and livestock exhibits. It is one of the largest fairs in the state with over 6,000 exhibits, top-notch entertainers, concerts and fireworks.”

According to Top Events USA all the listing are selected by residents, tourists and visitors in the USA, the team of travel writers working for Top Events USA, and some officials of the states, cities and the events and festivals themselves. Top Events USA does not feature every event in America. Featured are only the top 10-20 attractions in each state. The state of Wyoming only has 15 events featured.

In addition to the Top Events USA listing, Wyoming’s Big Show®-The Sweetwater County Fair was named the NUMBER ONE summer event in Wyoming by Wyoming Lifestyle Magazine and a Top Ten event by AmericaTheBeautiful.com. It is the largest annual event in Western Wyoming drawing nearly 70,000+ visitors in 2013. 

The Sweetwater County Fair After Dark Concert Series will open with a performance by David Nail on Tuesday, July 29 followed by Adelitas Way on Wednesday, July 30 and Three Days Grace on Thursday, July 31.  Red will continue the concert series on Friday, August 1 while country duo Thompson Square will close out the series on Saturday, August 2.  All concerts will start at 8:30 p.m. and concert admission is FREE with paid fair admission.  All concerts feature festival style seating. 

Daily attractions for 2014 include:  Jest in Time Circus, Mango & Dango, Kid’s Celebration – A Family Game Show, Lanky the Clown, Lady Houdini, Fair Animal Specialties Petting Zoo, Linda Hulet – Clown of Many Faces, Comedy Entertainer Jason Huneke, Balloon Guy and so much more!  Information about concert head-liners will begin next Tuesday, February 25.Wyoming’s Big Show®- the Sweetwater County Fair is the largest annual event in Western Wyoming. The Sweetwater Events Complex features campgrounds, the largest midway in the area, a Grandstand Stage with top-ranked performing artists, traditional county fair exhibits, food and fun for the entire family.
